On May 15, 2026, Drake released three albums in one day. One of them is called ICEMAN. ICEMAN contains a lyric about Julia Filippo. The lyric places her in his bed.

Julia Filippo says Drake has no idea who she is. (Her exact words: "Drake has no idea who I am." This is the same statement, made from the other direction.) She says they had dinner. She says she left after dinner. She says the lyric is false. She is threatening to sue.

In a defamation proceeding, the court reviews the record. The record is what was stated, by whom, and whether it was accurate. Drake's record is the ICEMAN album. Julia Filippo's name is in the record. Julia Filippo was not consulted when Drake created the record. She would like the record to show something different.
